Superb mid century set of 4 Hans Olsen tripod dining chairs, part of the most unique and well designed dining set to ever come out of Denmark. Hans Olsen’s iconic set for Frem Rojle has gained tremendous popularity throughout the world because of its space saving and well executed design. When in place, the four three-legged chairs integrate perfectly with the skirt of the matching table (not included) forming one unit making it a great solution for smaller living spaces. The 4 chairs also stack nicely and are made entirely out of solid Burmese teak, showing gorgeous grain patterns and patina throughout. Hans Olsen designed these chairs in 1953 for Frem Røjle Møblefabrik, and it serves as the quintessential model for the holistic integration of form and function. The design is certainly as progressive and relevant today as it was 60 years ago. The chairs are in excellent vintage condition free from any damage, repairs or marks apart from a very tiny cut on one of the seats vinyl cover that by the location and size is perfectly unnoticeable (please see last detailed photo).
Overall these chairs will make the perfect complement to any Mid Century inspired dining space.
