This is one of the most elegant G Plan sideboard featuring highly sculpted handles and a slender cabinet raised on pin style legs. The clean lines and lightness of form makes this piece of furniture timeless. It is part of the successful and sought-after Scandinavian range and was designed in 1964 by Victor Wilkins (attr.). The Scandinavian range was the follow up to the highly desirable ‘Danish Range’ by Kofod Larson but redesigned to suit the British lifestyle. The sideboard comprises of two cabinets with different sizes and middle shelf and a set of 4 drawers (one with removable dividers intended initially for cutlery). This sideboard is in excellent condition throughout with only very minor signs of wear. The teak veneer has a lovely colour and patina and all the doors and drawers work well. The G Plan golden stamp is in one of the drawers. Overall this is a beautiful and stylish piece of furniture in stunning condition ready to be enjoyed.
