Striking and rare piece of furniture! One of the best Mid Century British designs. Beautifully designed and constructed in the village of Beith, this original long sideboard was produced in the 1960s by the top quality Scottish Beithcraft. Only a small quantity of these sideboards were produced and they are very sought-after. The sideboard is finished in teak with a great choice of light teak veneers and solid teak parts. It features stunning rounded edges and that superb Beithcraft signature, organic structured cross base. Absolutely eye-catching! The storage space consists of 3 hinged doors (one a drinks cabinet) with a shelf and 3 drawers of which one cutlery drawer. The condition is amazing as it has been recently restored. Very minor signs of use, as per photos. All doors and drawers work well. Overall this unit is a large imposing statement piece with beautiful grains and quality throughout. The perfect stage to display all the special mid century treasures.
