Beautiful teak 70s by one of Britain most renowned cabinet makers Nathan furniture. This sideboard is probably the most rare and less-known of the Nathan designs. Many manufacturers were making teak furniture, so designs needed to be original. Nathan introduced several new designs in teak. One of the best was this sideboard with the unusual D handles. As with all Nathan furniture, the attention to the details is great with beautiful book matching veneers. This is definitely a very well built piece of furniture.
The storage comprises of a set of 3 different size dovetail joint drawers on the right hand side (one with cutlery dividers) and 1 large cupboard.
The condition is excellent for age with a stunning colour and patina but please expect minor marks of wear and tear (as per photos). Has just been recently revived.
Overall this stunning piece will certainly make the perfect stage to any unique mid century art or objects collection!
