1969 Barbara Brown “Galleria” Heals Fabrics Ltd Curtains

Amazing find! Rare 60s Heals Fabrics Barbara Brown curtain panel. Rare Galleria furnishing fabric of machine screen-printed cotton satin. With big swirling bands of approximately 2 inches strips of shaded colours in lime greens teal and pink. Impressive and unusual colour pallet. Panton Era. Unlined. This is one of a pair (2nd curtain also listed) and there is a slightly less wide pair advertised separately also. The condition of this curtain is very good for age but being a used curtain panel there is some discolouration/fading, as per photos. Photos show the curtain laid down in both halves. There is a seam in the middle where both full with panels were joined together. There are no holes or damage to the fabric but very minor pulls to the thread causing a white thread may be present. These curtains by no means are perfect but the colours are still bright and the design is outstanding. A great opportunity to own this historically significant piece of modernist textile, part of the Mid Century British design and held in the V&A archives.

Dimensions:  1 pair W 230cm; H 223cm each and 1 pair W 175cm; H 225cm each

Price: Wider pair £130 each, Other pair £100 each
